Objectives

Design and implement training and professional development interventions to equip different target groups of the SEMED HEIs with the necessary competences, skills and knowledge to deliver the modernized curricula and operate the new lab units in high-quality and ensure their long-term sustainability.

Enhance the competences of the academic staff members of theSEMED HEIs, responsible for curriculum development, to create high-quality, modern, and engaging curricula.

Provide academic staff members of the SEMED HEIs, responsible for teaching, with opportunities for training on teaching the newly developed courses and for knowledge exchange to review and discuss these courses with their peers at the EU HEIs.

Equip future academic managers of the new lab units with the needed competences to effectively operate and administer the lab units in a sustainable manner.

Description

This WP involves the enhancement of the competences, skills and knowledge of different target groups of the partner country HEIs (including academic, administrative and technical staff).

The aim is to provide them support in delivering the outputs developed in the framework of the project (i.e. the new curricula and the new lab units) in high-quality and to ensure their long-term sustainability.

The detailed planning of the training program/interventions will be based on the output of WP2 (capacity surveys). It will mainly comprise three lines of intervention: curricula-related, teaching related and lab related.
